Based on recent reviews, the clinic appears set up for general small-animal care with the ability to handle urgent cases (one review mentions appointments running late due to an emergency) and to refer to external centres for advanced treatment (a cat owner describes being advised to go to a surgery centre with an estimated cost of £8,000). Recent reviewers also raise concerns about communication and transparency—examples include a complaint about being told a large deposit was required for referral, and another about not being informed of delays until arrival.

About a month ago I brought my cat into the vets as he was unwell after 2 days of in they said it’s better to put him down or other option is to take him to a centre for surgery which would cost 8000 I do choose the option to take him to the centre the team then went on to add they would require a 4000 deposit to put me off which I didn’t listen to one the day of him going to the centre they left him for an hour in his basket while very unwell like they wanted him to die when I did finally get him to the centre none of what the vets told me was true I don’t pay 4000 deposit they said pay what ever we could they was so friendly and welcoming he never needed surgery he was treated with antibiotics I would avoids this vets if u have cats they are more welcoming to dogs I will be moving my cat to a different a vet as they are so unprofessional and liars give u wrong information they don’t have hearts at all just want the simple way out of putting your pet down I will be escalating this further as what they done is so unacceptable o would avoid this vet at all costs if I could give zero star I would don’t even deserve one star

Understanding commercial nature of this business, I cannot agree with their approach. 20 pounds for 20ml of liquid paracetamol is proper con. On a top of that, doctor who tries to convince you that paracetamol is for dogs only so it cost so much. It is really abusive for intelligent people. Good advice - treating people like they are idiots was beginning of the end for many businesses - think it over. Stay away from them and you will be healthier. Answering your reply - please do not joke. Quick follow up on my review - my dog died after last visit @ Kingswood. He had to be put down. They did everything to take money from us even they knew he won't survive. They gave us false hope just to get money from us and extended my poor dog pain and suffering. It is disgusting how they do not have any respect or ethics to their profession. I really hope they will collapse as con company. Please beware they won't look to help your pet - they just need your money! They are proper con! I really regret I have ever met them!

Not a very good experience today unfortunately. Georgia at reception was unwelcoming when I approached, kept her head down at reception and greeted everybody else thereafter. The surgery ran late because of an emergency. I asked approximately how long, Georgia replied “I don’t know”, as if to say “It will take as long it takes”!! I said the surgery could have notified us by messaging, a call or upon my arrival that they are running late to either wait or reschedule, but she doesn’t see why they should, because it’s an emergency. “Rearrange if it’s a problem, nobody else is making an issue”. I was left alarmed at the attitude presented of this establishment and no reassurance of the logistic of our appointment. I am considering taking my business elsewhere unfortunately. Manage people’s expectations regardless of any outcome.
