We can’t thank Louise at Vets for Pets in Bagshot enough for the care, support and compassion she has shown us and Simba.
From the moment Simba had his X-ray, right through to the very difficult decision to opt for palliative care, Louise has been incredibly supportive. She has been so generous with her time, always taking the time to explain things, answer our questions and help us navigate what has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time.
It’s not just her knowledge and professionalism, but the genuine care and compassion she has shown towards Simba and towards us as a family that has meant so much.
Knowing there are tougher times ahead, it gives us great comfort to know that Simba (and all of us) are in such good hands.

Due to a lost/delayed postal delivery and having run out of Thyronorm for our elderly cat, I contacted Vet For Pets Bagshot on a Sunday to help in providing an bottle to tide him over until the delivery turned up. The initial phone call went well and after checking with the vet who confirmed it was ok, I drove 30 mins to Bagshot (no local/closer options). On arrival my prescription was checked and that's when the whole solution fell apart. Because they only one 30ml bottle and my prescription said 100ml, I could not be legally sold it. Where in this world has common sense gone? I now have a cat without his medication until we can get to our own vets which we can't do until Wednesday! I thought a key principle is to avoid suffering.
Exceptional knowledge , nurturing nature towards my dog and made me feel extremely comfortable knowing my dog is cared for by stephanie the vet. I would also like to add how wonderful the reception staff are. Very caring knowledgeable.Made me feel very welcome and comfortable.

Unfortunately my 1st time experience with Vets4pets Bagshot branch is let down by it's front desk/receptionists/customer service.
I've got a puppy who is 11wks, already had 1st vaccination with breeder, hence I arranged 2nd vaccination with Vets4pets Bagshot. Despite my calls to this branch and spook to its receptionists, unfortunately they missed a very important piece of information that is if 2nd vaccination late just for one day, this can invalid pet insurance. Both Receptionists & Vets only advised me that I need to sign a declaration, but failed to advise me Pet insurance can be invalided regardless declaration. If they say this in advance, I could re-arrange the date to ensure 2nd vaccination is on the date that is required.
This directly resulted I had to re-starts puppy vaccination, and impact of this is not just puppy suffers another jab, also delayed puppy goes outdoor due to not finishing initial vaccination. Also I had no choice but sign on a Pet care contract as if not, I will be charged initial vet consultation fee and 1st vaccination.
I think this branch problem is staffs especially reception say "Yes" too quickly to eager, feel like they have a sales target, so they have to make sales regardless and careless to give information/advice.
The vet is very nice, gentle to the puppy and I can see puppy relax very quickly with the Vet which is a good thing.
Also this brand out hour service is outsourced to another vet in nearby town who has very bad reviews which makes me anxious for my pup.
I will keep observing this branch service, hopefully no more errors from them, if it happens again, I will no doubt to change.
Just wanted to share a really positive experience we had with our incredibly nervous Greyhound who was in today for a routine nail trim, a normally traumatic experience for all concerned. A particular mention of Michelle for looking after her so well. My wife and I have been taking our dog here for nearly 4 years and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Vets4Pets in Bagshot.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vets 4 Pets Bagshot. My very complex hamster, Biscuit, lost all her fur and became extremely poorly. I was initially hesitant to use them, as I’d been advised to see an exotic specialist, but I’m so glad I chose their team.
Louise and Sarah have both been absolutely amazing with Biscuit and incredibly patient with me. The care Biscuit continues to receive is outstanding. Louise even stayed after closing to see her when I called last minute, which meant so much. I’ve always been able to message via WhatsApp and have received prompt, reassuring responses to any concerns.
Thanks to their care and dedication, Biscuit has now grown all her fur back and is back to her happy little self. Louise was genuinely delighted to see her progress and so happy for both Biscuit and I!
If you have a small animal ,or any pet at all I wholeheartedly recommend them. Their care is outstanding, and they truly care about the animals they treat!!

Amazing vets. Have taken excellent care of both of my dogs, plus the dogs like them. They really seem to care about what they do.
Updated Review: They diagnosed my little girl Luna (Jack Cross) with a murmur just over a year ago, and referred her to the Ralph (also excellent) in Marlow. She was diagnosed with Stave B2 heart disease (mitral valve degradation). We started her on Vetmedin under both practices guidance. On Tuesday 06/01/26 she collapsed after worsening symptoms (cough, lethargy, etc.). I called VforP and got her straight down to them. Stef, who we have seen a number of times before, saved her (and she was so very kind to me in the process as I was very upset) and I can't thank her enough. This has just confirmed my belief that they are an exceptional practice. Also, I had taken her down on the Sunday prior and she wasn't presenting dangerous symptoms at that point but the lovely lady we saw (I apologise for not remembering her name) had advised that we get another echo due to worsening murmur. We couldn't afford to take her to the Ralph again so she took the time to find alternative local vets who were able to perform diagnostics themselves (they have also been fantastic [Mulberry Vets], and have worked with VforP to continue care due to the fact I want to maintain ongoing care with Bagshot). The professionals within this practice really care for the animals they see, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for a trustworthy source of care for their beloved pet(s), big or small. The owner, Louise (I believe, and apologies if I'm wrong) is such a friendly and involved professional as well. I have really never experienced such exceptional care, even for myself. All staff are simply brilliant.
Every time I go to Vets4Pets in Bagshot I am so impressed. The level of care and empathy they always give is incredible. I have taken various rats, degus and cats there and every vet has been outstanding. I am so glad I found them and so grateful for all their skill and care.
